October 30, 2013 on Hallows’ Eve the WooFDriver and his crew took the WooFPAK for a spooky Midnight Mushing Tour of the C&O Canal Towpath in the area of Devils Alley Campsite at milepost 144.5. The campground is one of many hiker-biker campsites along the canal.

Just west on the towpath is the Paw Paw Tunnel. It is in this tunnel where you can hear the crying of a young girl and some have said that she placed her small hand on theirs while holding onto the tunnel’s railing. It is said that this young girl drowned after falling off her family’s canal boat while going through the tunnel and that she is still looking for her family to come take her out of the tunnel’s darkness.
